Ratings & Reviews for Gibraltar Mailboxes Mailbox to Go Metal Standard Mailbox Black with Post

I LOVE THIS MAILBOX !!!

VERY EASY TO INSTALL. IT WILL STAND FOR MANY YEARS. HAS A BEAUTIFUL STYLE. MY NEIGHBOUR GAVE ME A COMPLIMENT FOR THE NEW MAILBOX. THE POST DELIVERY MAN LIKES THE HEIGHT - EASY FOR HIM TO REACH THE OPENING. THE 3" HOUSENUMBERS FIT PERFECT ON THE SIDE OF THE BOX. LOW'S STORE HAD THE BEST PRICE ON THIS PARTICULAR MAILBOX. I ORDERED THE ITEM ONLINE AND PICKED IT UP AT THE STORE. AMAZING FAST TRANSACTION AT THE PICKUP LOCATION OF THE STORE. MANY THANKS TO LOW'S FOR SUCH A GREAT DEAL !!!

Very happy with this

We would have had to pay a contractor to dig the hole for any other post. We waited for a long rain, and we’re able to place this securely through the rocky ground. This is also a strong product.

Temporary mail box

Needed a temporary mail box. For the price this is just what I needed. You can spend more and get more, but this did the job.

Lightweight

Good alternative to the traditional wooden post that is too heavy for me to transport and put up.

Standing Strong

Very nice and standing strong no issues with this item at all

Best mailbox

Great for the price

Speedy mailbox replacement.

Very easy to assemble and install. The only problem is, if not concreted into the ground, it is very easy to pull up and walk away with.

Easy easy

Just used my rubber mallet to pound the base into ground. No cement used. As long as the garbage truck doesnt run over this one it should hold up. Mailman came by he liked it too. Hes looking for a new one for his house. Oh darn Forgot the numbers...oh well back to lowes.

Affordable, sturdy and easy to install

This mail box took five minutes to assemble and less than 10 minutes to dig a hole and add quickcrete. We’ve been using it for weeks without any issues.

Good buy!

Solid, well made, easy to assemble and install. I used quick set concrete to anchor it.

Best upgrade!!

We decided to give our home a face lift and some much needed curb appeal. This mailbox installation definitely did the trick! What’s even better is that our small packages don’t get all soaked from rain and moisture. A very durable and pocket friendly purchase. Will recommend to friends and family!!

Easy to install

My husband put this mailbox next to cement steps. So far it is great.

easy to assemble

would be nice if numbers were included with the kit,

Mailbox review

What a piece of chinese-made garbage. The mailbox is supported by a cheap bracket which is held in place to the frame by simple nuts and bolt that don't hold the mailbox very secure. Everytime the mailbox door is pulled open,it loosens the bracket system. Do not buy this.
