The product is great but at my local Lowe's store, they had a demo one and that showed different dimensions than what arrived. I verified it was the EXACT same Model & Item numbers. The one I received was about an inch each way shorter.

Not very good at keeping the weather out.

Overall quality of box is good. Only complaint is that it does not keep the weather out very good. Had a hard rainstorm recently with high winds and the mail in the box was soaked. Yesterday we received a snowstorm with high winds and the inside of the box was full of snow. For the price, one would think that it would do a better job of protecting the insides.

Durable box but prone to leaks around door.

The door did not fit properly and was rubbing the side of the unit when closing. The back corner of the box also was bent slightly, but it did not interfere with the installation. The paint had also chipped off of the back corner of the box.

I am pretty sure this mail box will finally be the one that dents the snow plow, instead of the other way around!

Worth the price!

This mailbox is a beast. Much stouter than I had expected. A couple of neighborhood horses had been getting out for the last few months and using my cheap mailbox for a scratching post and bending it up so bad that I was having to go out with some pliers every day to bend it back into shape just to get it to close (barely). not what they used to be

had one of these for 10-15 yrs and loved it. in 40yrs it was far and away the longest lasting mailbox we have had. Alas, over a decade of road salt caused fatal corrosion to the hinge and led to the demise of our roadside friend. i ventured out to Lowes to replace it, and to my delight, the same exact model was on display, and there was 1 left! when i got home and opened the box, i discovered this was not the mailbox i was looking for. ...

super heavy duty and heavy. It seems like it will be indestructible! I especially like the magnetic closure for the door
