Disappointed fuse blows - Lowe's won't return
Would Not RecommendWe purchased a Generac generator from Lowe’s during a power outage, only to discover it was defective out of the box. The unit repeatedly trips the breaker even when nothing is plugged into the outlet. We have video evidence showing the issue. When we returned to the store, the manager told us corporate would not allow an exchange without an RMA from Generac. Will probably be a unit once it runs properly

He got it running for the time being but it is still not right because it surges unless you leave the choke about half way. Beware of a fuel leak on start up
Would Not RecommendRead all the owners manual and followed all the start up procedures and it started on the first pull. BUT fuel pored out of the carburetor. Not a trickle, PORED OUT. Lucky it didn’t catch fire. Only did this once, I shut off the fuel valve and inspected everything. Found no visible leaks and started it again. Hasn’t leaked fuel again so not sure what was the cause.
