Ratings & Reviews for Generac 50 State 8250 Starting / 6700 Running Watt Gasoline, Liquid propane Dual fuel Portable Generator

Great generator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I highly recommend this product it was very durable, and it was very easy to set up and use. The noise level is similar to any portable generator. It has come in very handy when the power is out.

Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome! The Tru Fuel feature is super convenient. It’s is pretty heavy but it has wheels to move around when needed. So far it works well, I don’t need a generator frequently but the convenience is great.

Great Product!

I bought this on our way back from Myrtle Beach because we had no power in Greenville,SC because of Helene. Definitely did the job and so glad we bought it before we got back home. There was none to be found locally.

Great in an emergency

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The generac portable generator has come in real handy during our spring storms. We've had bad storm blow through our area this year and power goes out easily. My husband hooked up the generac to our fridge and a few other household things and it may our time without power so much easier. It is not very loud and it's easily to move around. When our power came back on we brought it to our sons house so they could run things Everyone's benefits ...

Easy to use and not loud.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a storm electric was out for 28 hours. I have a smaller generator already but this one much bigger allowed me to hook up much needed appliances and other electric items. Easy to transport because on wheels not heavy or bulky at all. Easy to store. I can even work this without a problem. Quick start and not as loud as the one I had already. Also when we go camping it’s great to have with us. So easy to travel with.

Awesome, easy to use generator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator is awesome. I was able to set it up alone- so simple! I love that it has three fuel options as well. I think my favorite part is the battery start- it fires up so quickly!

Excellent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We finally were able to try it. He is a beast! It can power an entire home. Everything was in the box to assemble it. Very heavy ( I think it’s more than 230 lbs). It has tires that need to be installed so it can be moved. The noise is not as loud as I was expecting. Has a lot of power. Runs on gasoline, propane and natural gas.

Quality, Portable Power!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is a beast- in the best way! Its quality and I love the rugged wheels it comes with making it portable. The best feature is the tri fuel. It’s great to have multiple options to power it. Worst part is how heavy it is and trying to get the wheels attached.

Must need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what we needed for our camping trip. Gave us a sense of peace knowing we had a machine that would keep us comfortable. I love that it is gas powered because as long as we had that we were fine.

Works nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Look like it’s pretty easy to maintain. The noise level isn’t too bad. I will add a video later of that. It is heavy and once you get the wheels on in the handles, it makes it a whole lot easier to move around, but you still know you’re moving something because it is heavy. It works very nice. I really can’t say how it’s going to hold up. I can update that later, but it looks like it’s made very well and at any time you have any problems I don’...

Generator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generic power systems portable generator. This generator came in handy. We used it for the bounce house we had a party. It worked amazing. The noise was a little loud but to bad.

Co2 sensor issues

Love the product ,i purchased this generator right after a recent storm .it ran really well and then started giving an error on the co2 sensor. I now need to take it to an authorized repair shop. Strange because the generator was out in the open .it was only 1 day after purchase

All good! Love the dual fuel. I do wonder if I can plumb the fuel from our home propane tank? or possibly use my 100# tank vs only a 20 or 30# ? It's perfect as a home backup, as is, just thinking of a fixed backup rather than having to run sep tanks & wire.

Bad Bad Bad

F...ing garbage. Do not buy. Runs rough if it starts. Worst generator I've ever had. I would say used but can't hardly use it. Bought new. Was garbage right out of the box. Should have returned. Spen up and get a Honda. This thing is junk

Ample power and easy start

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator is perfect. Has a quick start button to make it easy for me to start. It operates off gas, propane or natural gas. It is quiet during running which is a great plus. Has a handle and wheels to make it simple to move around to where it is needed. Large enough to keep me in civilization during power outages.

Impressive power and feature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worth every cent!! Top of the line!!! This is absolutely an amazing generator—-I mean, top of the line brand, and just remarkable specs. It can run on gasoline, liquid propane, or natural gas. It offers 12500 starting watts of power and 9500 running watts. This generator gives me so much comfort that if something happens, I know we will have power and everything will okay until the power comes back! It can run from 3 fuel sources which makes it...

Tri fuel generator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator is perfect, nice heavy duty with the ability to run gasoline, liquid propane or natural gas fuel source. It is easy to switch between settings. It is heavy but with the wheels is portable and easy to move. It definitely makes noise, but to be expected with the size of generator and it’s tolerable. Perfect for emergency/power outages, job sites/ tools and camping. Well worth the investment if looking for generator, especially with...

Must have for hurricane season!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TriFuel Generator by Generac is going to come in very handy come hurricane season. Living in central Florida, a generator is a must have! This one runs on natural gas, gasoline and propane. We tried it first with propane and it started right up with the battery start, and it quickly shut right off when we closed to valve on the propane tank. Last year there was a huge issue with finding gas after Hurricane Milton, now that we can also use ...

Great to have as a backup for extreme weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a place that is prone to have extreme climate, and sometimes the power can go out when it’s either too hot or too cold. A generator is a necessity for those occasions, particularly to help keep the house at an adequate temperature - whether by powering AC or help turn on space heaters and/or fans. What I like about this product is that it is tri fuel - it can work with gasoline, propane, and natural gas, depending on your needs. We t...
