Great features compared to other generators

I'm 70 years old and live alone. When I purchased this product generators were in very high demand due to frequent power outages and severe storms. It was the only one I could find. There's no doubt that it's a wonderful product, but it's too heavy for me, and I don't have the upper body strength to start it with the pull cord. I need to find a neighbor to help, usually during driving rain and terrible weather conditions-not ideal times to ask for help when neighbors were experiencing simila...

Great product

I bought this last month after a second round of thunderstorms. I starter up fine, and ready for the next power outage. Just would be quiter while running.

Starts easy

Great product glad we have it but hope we don't have to use the it for a while.

Easy to use

I bought the 8063 tri fuel generator at a local hardware store, I local electrician installed a transfer switch. Approximately a week later we had a power outage. The generator worked as expected it did seem to be a little hard to start i was using propane, but that may be normal I don't have experience with using propane for fuel.

Great product

Wr bought the 6500 generac the 4 th of July and it helped us get by for 2 days without power works excellent.

Bought this and had it tied into the house and had a huge storm come through NW Indiana and it worked amazingly wonderful

Tri fuel

I bought this generator recently to be used to back up the electric power in my home during power outages. I have not had a chance to use it yet but have tested this generator and it works quite well.

Easy set up

I purchased this a month ago at Farm and Fleet. Set up was super easy. It fired right up, the battery already had a full charge on it for the starter. There are directions on the machine so when the power does go out and your in a rush you don’t have to go looking for anything it’s all on the machine and ready to get your house back up and running.

Good generators but...

Bought 2 of these. In FL, I start them about every 6 months. At 9 months old, one did not start. H Depot didn't even have them on file as a purchase. Generac fixed that. I got the repair but had to rent a uhaul - 2 separate trips to take to the shop and back home. I think it should have been fixed on site, considering I spent almost 2k with them. I do like them though

Terrible Experience!

At first I loved my purchase but within operating the generator for 10 hours, one set of outlets has shorted out. There was no water damage, simply stopped working. When I contacted support I was told that I needed to deal with wherever I bought it (authorized dealer) or a repair location. Funny though- repair locations they gave me refuse warranty work, and authorized dealer tells me it’s a final sale, best of luck. Terrible experience to spend $1k on a generator and have it working 50% within ...

Nice unit.

I bought this after the last storm, but haven't had to use it yet. It starts easy and should have plenty of power to run the whole house.

Generator Review

so far, the product has met my expectations. the setup was fairly easy. It would be nice if the manual print had a larger font. It would also be nice if the generator came with a wattage meter.
