Very quiet and easy to maintan

Still in the box, but it’s a very nice unit. Came well packed with clear instructions. Once I have a need for it, I know it will preform. General is a reliable brand

It’s actually pretty quiet for a generator and I think it’s great that it can also be hooked up to propane.

Do not buy

Do not buy. I purchased brand new and it did not even start. Luckily the place I bought it from was cool and let me return it. That will be the first and last Generac product I ever purchase.

Great for power but the battery disappointed

Great emergency power but the battery was dead from the beginning and won’t pick up a charge, which is a real shame.

GENERAC 3500 IO

I purchased the 3500 IO back in 2020 in Texas. To date I have 7558.7 hours on the unit, it went through the Big Freeze in Texas, kept my neighbors homes heated during power outages. This unit has had the oil changed every 250 hrs (30W), Lucas upper cylinder gas additive occasionally, a new pull cord at 5800 hrs and a yearly plug change. I recommend this unit for all your uses up to 25 amps, it hasn't let me down. Great unit

Sucks

I bought one of these generators for a backup for my Ryobi generator and it’s so frustrating!!!!!! It takes forever to get the thing started vs my 10+ year old Ryobi to start. I can start my old Ryobi with 3-5 pulls and it has well over 100 hours on it as it’s over 10 years old! But my generac is much harder to get started and it’s got maybe 10 hours of use on it! I wish I had bought 2 of the Ryobi generators at the same time!!! You say you’re one of the best out there but even Coleman is easier...

Not worth the price

Bought this last year and was disappointed it wouldn’t run a small ac. It will start up and run for a few seconds but then goes into limp mode. Won’t run a toaster or microwave without going into limp mode. My old Honda 2500 ran it fine. It hardly idles with no load. Tried to return but couldn’t. Told to call generac which I did several times with just the runaround. I basically use it to charge the trailer battery. Haven’t found anyone who can make it work as advertised

Generac GP 3300

Received my generator a few days ago, took it out of box and added the quart of oil that came with it. Then added non ethanol gas. Turned dial to choke and started on second pull. The next day same thing second pull with choke. It fired up hair dryer so works great.

great product

It will work get for us since it is a carry one.

Impossible to start

try to start every 3-5 weeks.this is the worse engine I have ever had. I have other small equip in my shed that starts after 2-4 pulls after sitting for a year. Regret purchasing

Reliable

Purchased Nov 2024 for frequent power outages, have used it and very satisfied so far.

Poor Quality

This complete piece of garbage won't start right out of the box. First and last Generac item I will purchase.

Job site generator

we got this generator July of 2020 and it has ran 14+ hours a day 5 days a week and all we had to do is change oil and put gas in it for the 15,000+ hours that it has ran.

Nice looking unit, but difficult to start initially

Unit will not now start, no matter how many times I pull starter rope. Only has about 30 hours on it. Good fuel and spark plug. Don't buy this unit , I am very disappointed!!
