Portable replacement for a standby

No major loads put on it yet, but so far so good on this generator. Starts easy, not too loud. Nice that it came with a start up kit, wheels, and a handle which seems to be extras on other brands. Idle control when running with no load would be nice, but it wasn't a deal killer. I like the steel fuel tank and the quality of the fuel shot off valve. Not impressed

We bought a Generac brand new & it didn’t work straight out of the box. We’ve had 2 service calls & they still can’t figure it out. We’re waiting on another part. Parts take forever to get & then you have to call & chevk bc they don’t call you. Not happy at all!

Stripped oil dipstick

Brand new, unscrewed the oil dipstick to add oil, and found out the threads were stripped. Immediately ordered and had to pay for a new one.

Installed the Guardian 26kW whole house backup system and it is great. First time it came on there was a small flicker of our lights. I would not have even known it was running if not for the app. There is a certain comfort that brings - knowing we are well protected against utility outages! 5 Stars!!!

We bought during a once in a lifetime ice storm in Northern Michigan. It worked like a charm and kept the whole house running.

Bad warranty

We had an outlet burn out and the warranty would not replace. We also had to search several places to even take it too. Not an easy process

Great generator!

Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome! The Tru Fuel feature is super convenient. It’s is pretty heavy but it has wheels to move around when needed. So far it works well, I don’t need a generator frequently but the convenience is great.

Great Product!

I bought this on our way back from Myrtle Beach because we had no power in Greenville,SC because of Helene. Definitely did the job and so glad we bought it before we got back home. There was none to be found locally.

Great in an emergency

We've had bad storm blow through our area this year and power goes out easily. My husband hooked up the generac to our fridge and a few other household things and it may our time without power so much easier. It is not very loud and it's easily to move around. When our power came back on we brought it to our sons house so they could run things Everyone's benefits ...

Easy to use and not loud.

I have a smaller generator already but this one much bigger allowed me to hook up much needed appliances and other electric items. Easy to transport because on wheels not heavy or bulky at all. Easy to store. I can even work this without a problem. Quick start and not as loud as the one I had already. Also when we go camping it’s great to have with us. So easy to travel with.

Awesome, easy to use generator!

Excellent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We finally were able to try it. He is a beast! It can power an entire home. Everything was in the box to assemble it. Very heavy ( I think it’s more than 230 lbs). It has tires that need to be installed so it can be moved. The noise is not as loud as I was expecting. Has a lot of power. Runs on gasoline, propane and natural gas.

Quality, Portable Power!

The best feature is the tri fuel. It’s great to have multiple options to power it. Worst part is how heavy it is and trying to get the wheels attached.

Must need

Works nice

It is heavy and once you get the wheels on in the handles, it makes it a whole lot easier to move around, but you still know you’re moving something because it is heavy. It works very nice. Generator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generic power systems portable generator. This generator came in handy. We used it for the bounce house we had a party. It worked amazing. The noise was a little loud but to bad.

Co2 sensor issues

Love the product ,i purchased this generator right after a recent storm .it ran really well and then started giving an error on the co2 sensor. I now need to take it to an authorized repair shop. Strange because the generator was out in the open .it was only 1 day after purchase

All good! Love the dual fuel. I do wonder if I can plumb the fuel from our home propane tank? or possibly use my 100# tank vs only a 20 or 30# ? It's perfect as a home backup, as is, just thinking of a fixed backup rather than having to run sep tanks & wire.

Bad Bad Bad

F...ing garbage. Do not buy. Runs rough if it starts. Worst generator I've ever had. I would say used but can't hardly use it. Bought new. Was garbage right out of the box. Should have returned. Spen up and get a Honda. This thing is junk
