Doesn't run! Doesn't work

15 plus thousand dollars waste of money. Our contractor called the generac service tech at our home 04/17. Unable to reach the generac service tech after the contractor spent most of the day at our home trying to get the generac generator to run.

Outstanding reliability

My unit is 2 years old and has functioned during outages and twice a month exercising. It is reliable and provides a safety net for me during any kind of outage. The automatic transfer and start up/shut down make operation safe and reliable.

Peace of Mine

This is what we needed for complete peace of mind. Starts automatically (we don’t have to be home), notifies us of status, and let’s deal know if there are any issues so they can plan to service the unit (we don’t need to figure it out and call them). Keeps our life simple and worry free.

I bought this generator a month ago and I'm so glad that I did.

have had it for a month and no complaints. hasn't kicked in yet since we haven't lost power. so will tell then. yes it's got some noise to it but you can still sit on the deck and talk if it actually has to run.

Comforting to know we are prepared!

I had my unit was installed in April 2025 and it has been used 3 times during power outages so far. Knowing that we are protected and ready for in the event of a power loss is so comforting.

Paperweight at Best

Just purchased the 18kw cellular 15 October 2025 by a Generac dealer. Unfortunately my Propane company couldn't set the tanks until the next morning. The Generac dealer hooked up a 20lb tank to run me through the functionality of the generator. After the Propane company hooked up the tanks to the supply line to the generator, I performed a power outage to ensure there were no issues. The unit lost wifi connectivity. I attempted to reset, but it wouldn't connect. I contacted the dealer/install...

Bad support from Generac & Lowes

We are now on our 2nd Generac generator and still do not have a working unit. Purchased 07/11/24. First unit the battery charger did not work so they exchanged that unit with another “new” one. This one won’t turn on and they said the $600 control board is fried. Still waiting for parts on 11/29/24. $5,000 non working unit. No ETA on a new control board. Terrible service out of Lowe’s and Generac.

Don't purchase a generac generator thru Lowes.

I'm having a terrible customer service experience with this purchase, first off I had to pay over 13000.00 dollars up front ! Total full payment, paid in Sept. In Lawton, Oklahoma, it's now 16 Dec., and I still don't have my generator. I'll never use Lowes again, I get updates, but mainly excuses , terrible customer service experience!!

The generator is great. Your communication about delivery is not so good. Delivery man was 5 star! This unit was advertised to have 10 Warrenty- got no paper or notices about warranty- HOW DO I GET MY 10 YEAR WARRANTY?
