Comes on when the power goes out!

I live in TX where spring storms and sever winters can knock out power. On May 5th a lightning strike took out my power, in the past that would be a huge problem but not this time. Within a minute my Generac generator automatically kicked in and brought the power back on!

Woks so well I bought one for our weekend home.

I bought my first Generac 30kw 5 years ago. We have had zero problems. So I thought it was a no brainer to add a Generac to our weekend home.

Fired up the first time!

We ordered a 30kW automatic standby generator for our 3400 sq ft house, and sadly the first one arrived badly damaged. We had to refuse delivery, and Generac sent out another one a few weeks later. This generator was in great shape, and after our electrician installed it and wired it up, it started on the first try. Since then it's been doing it's automated self-test each week. Feeling of peace of mind

The whole process of getting the generator from start to finish was great. Canter kept in contact to let me know when each step would take place. Now we have peace of mind in case of a power outage.

The product has not failed when there has been a lost of power.

Our generator came online for the first time last night. The power was out for only an hour or so, but It was so nice to not have to worry how long the power would be off. And not having to start with the portable generator. Our 48 KW ran our whole home. I would highly recommend this unit.

Excellent reliable unit; noisy

Installed the 30kW unit 2 years ago and it performed flawlessly through 2 hurricanes and 1 tornado. Lots of reserve for our compound with 2 houses, 3 ACs, ovens, hottub, landscaped and well lit inside. Only complaint is noise. This thing runs at over 3200rpm with LPG supply and while i like the fact ive got >1000 gallons in underground lpg, i wish it had hospital grade mufflers. While im not disturbed, its outside my neighbours bedroom. Im contemplating noise barriers and additional mufflers but...

24kw Generator

Pace installed my Generac Generator today. The whole process was outstanding. Love the Generac, we have had to use it 3 times in the first month so has come in very handy. Did take forever to come as is the way with most everything in 2022.

30 KW

Was toying with a cheaper 24kw unit instead of the 30kw. The 30kw covered the whole house plus pool whereas the 24 needed to have certain loads taken off. Auto exercises and seems to work like a champ.

Appears good for power replacement

Had our 30 KW unit installed about 6 weeks ago. Pretty straight forward for the installer until we got to the wifi setup. Probably the most complicated setup I have ever seen (and I have done IT work) and took hours to complete. In the end, the issue was our router setup, where THAT installer set selection of 2.4 or 5 gHz to AUTO. Most devices today can recognize and pick the one best suited, but the Wifi module in the Generac could not. We had to recode the router to separate the 2.4 ban...

Quality workmanship of product and installation.

We had our 48kW Generac installed last week by Auxiliary Power Systems of Remlap, Alabama. The technicians arrived exactly when they said they would and worked steadily in the Alabama heat, including digging a trench from our propane tank to the generator through hard, dry, rock-infested ground. We really appreciated their hard work (and courtesy). They had the generator up and running just fine before they left. Ready for Hurricanes!

We have been wanting a whole house generator for years. Purchased the generator in September of 2021. Did not receive it till June of 2022. Once the generator was installed, we ran the 24 hour breakin process. The generator is quieter than I thought it would be. Easy to fill with diesel and it looks good. So far we are extremely satisfied with our purchase. No fear now when a hurricane hits the Gulf Coast.

Well designed

The generator was installed today and it is running beautifully. The house has been running on it for 2 hours now while we were waiting on the lineman to reconnect power to the house i can barely hear the generator and the house acts like it is on the main power.

RD03022 built well

We chose this model because of the Perkins Diesel engine. Easy to perform maintenance, has long service intervals. Two minor complaints, it should come standard with coolant heater installed from factory, and should come with longer warranty for the price paid.

The product is providing the backup power desired.

While we are still in our initial break in period, the unit is providing the backup power supply as desired. The power level is sufficient and the transfer switch operates as intended. The unit is reasonably attractive and sound level is acceptable. The installing contractor has thus far performed the installation very well, but I am still awaiting the wiring harness to activate the wi-fi/app connection. How to clear 2760 code? Checked battery condition. It stays good.

This generator will do the job done in a normal size home

The location of the Auxiliary Shutdown switch makes it very easy to accidently turn the generator off. A simple fix was to place a guard around the switch. Locating the power wires for the MLG Module was a nightmare. They were bundled with and behind another wiring harness next to the actual generator. They should be placed next to the battery box where they are to be connected. The recommended 5/8" mounting bolts will not fit through the holes in the frame. I had to use 1/2" bolts. ...
