The washer looks nice and seems to function properly but the extremely low water fill level was never explained at the store or by the installers. There was no owners manual included in the packet that explained the smart feature details and what the optional features really did. The very first load left half the clothes above the water level when the cycle started and they just rubbed together until they eventually got barely covered with water. Broken Washer Lid

I bought this washing machine and it's done a good job until it started falling apart. I've has the unit for four years and within the last year the lid and plastic began cracking and is broken off on both sides near the hinge. I am now left trying to search for repair or find replacement options for a unit that broke to no fault of my own. It is only four years old! Super disappointed. Looks like I am not the only one with this exact same issue!

I purchased this washer and dryer set (and GE Dishwasher) after hearing good things and reading reviews. I haven’t been happy with any of them from the beginning. The washer takes forever, doesn’t balance loads and spin clothes out and you have to re-spin to get water out. Because it doesn’t balance well it is very loud and moves a lot hitting the dryer constantly. The dryer doesn’t dry clothes well. I usually have to rerun it 2 times. Terrible washing machine

Had a different brand that lasted 7 years with very few minor problems. Only upgraded because I didn’t feel like taking the old one apart to clean it. This GE washing machine is terrible with sheets/bedding and any “large” load. It never completes the spin cycle and always becomes unbalanced. The lid is cracked. I should have just returned it within the first month. I’ll honestly never buy a GE product again.

Lemon of a Washer

I purchased my GE Washer on 05/22/2026 at Lowe’s and then it stopped working on 08/12/2026. I had two technicians come to my home and told me they needed to order a part. The part came and was the wrong part like ?? So now two weeks later still not fixed and now I have to wait longer and I do it live in a town with a laundromat. Please do not buy this washer it breaks down! Such a disappointment with the customer service and how no one is able to help me!

Gets the job done

Overall a good sized washer that gets the job done. I couldn't understand though why it was getting uneven loads and moving across the floor. I was told to use the bulky items cycle for blankets and things like that and it did the trick. I vacillate between using the smart wash setting or not using them. It really just depends how much of a hurry I am in.

Purchased a GE Profile dryer 17 years ago. Never had a problem with it. Only purchased new one to match the washer.

Great capacity and durability

Capacity is good, cleans good. Still learning to use but happy with the purchase. This is my second GE Profile washer...last one lasted for 17 years!

Horrible purchase

Owned this for 8 months. It’s the worst washing machine I’ve ever owned. Clothes don’t get clean, smell, not fresh. Tried multiple settings, temps, load sizes, detergents. Waste of money and would not recommend . First time owning a “nicer” model washing machine. Wish we never “upgraded.”
