Not as good as old one

I reviewed a few weeks ago and thought I would get used to it but I am not! I had the 2015 and loved it. This one cooks cooler, is slow to respond, controls are not as responsive, and it shuts off if it gets hot! I loved my GE 2015 and got a new one when my top cracked without looking at other models. Now I am depressed and broke.

Had 2015 induction cook top

I had a 2015 30 inch induction cooktop and fell in love. Like gas but without the mess. Too got cracked and bought a new one but noticed it cooks lower, not as adjustable, turns off and makes noise. What is up. I am a sad

Disappointing

The new cooktop arrived on time but one of the burners did not work properly. It would only heat at medium power setting and cut out when I tried a higher temperature. After running new electrical wiring for the new cooktop and removing and capping off the gas cooktop I had to reinstall the old gas cooktop. Very very disappointed in this cooktop. You have to put a specific size pan on the top or the burner will not work. I returned it and am ordering a Frigidaire induction cooktop that has a pot...

All instructions were clear. Clearance requirements are precise. Cooktop performance is excellent.

Total Cooking Control

I always thought gas cooking would yield finer control. The new induction stovetop is faster to heat and quicker to cool because there is no hot burner that must cool before the cookware cools. Helps eliminate overcooking and burning more delicate foods.

Just installed our new Induction cooktop. It looks beautiful in our kitchen. Have boiled water on it so far and it was very quick. Easy to use. Could not be happier!

No need for wifi smart bluetooth apliance

Easy to use .do wish it had the stainless steel wrapped on ALL 4 side. If it had that I'd say it would be a 5 star . We don't use the wifi , on a stove that's a little much .my opion ,there's no need for it ..

Slow Heating

This is the 3rd induction cooktop we have owned- the first GE and it does not heat up asquick as my previous ones. Water takes a lot longer to boil and is like a regular cooktop not an induction cooktop.

Fast heating! Top doesn’t soil as much because it doesn’t get hot.

New with broken eye

Bought brand new but one eye is broken. I do like the stove top but frustrating to Dimes that much money on an item with a broken part

Great features

Great cooktop. It really heats up quickly. I also like that I can switch burners and it is VA almost instant heat.

Meh!!

ok, not spectacular. stated in sales pitch that you can adjust the temp by degrees or it will maintain a particular temperature setting. thats only if you buy the sensors that you stick in the pan $$$. or buy pans that have bluetooth sensors that connect to the cooktop even more $$$. stainless steel edge scratched immediately. replaced and older induction from GE with this one as th glass had been cracked.

Great cooking! Controls are hard to see.

I would give it 5 stars, except for the fact that the controls are very hard to see. Sometimes I have to use a flashlight to see them. Boils water in no time!

Looks nice and hope works great

Seems to be great! The function seems to be a better upgrade than my original GE Monogram electric cooktop

Disappointed

I was really happy with my induction cooktop until I noticed a hairline crack in the glass. I had my last cooktop for 20 years with no trouble. I’ve had this one 10 months and the glass warranty is only 90 days. It makes me nervous to cook on it now.
