Works Great. Looks good.

Replaced an older induction cooktop. It fit right into the existing cutout on the counter. Used the same 40 amp electrical circuit. So, installation was easy. This unit seems to heat even faster than the old one. The controls are easy to use and understand. Should last a long time.

So much better than radiant electric cooktop.

Haven't had a chance to use the cooktop much (that's why I withheld the fifth star in my rating) but the cooktop looks sleek, water boils incredibly fast, and I love the bridge element for use with a cast iron griddle. I wasn't aware that there is a minimum size pan for use on each burner. When the installers first tested the unit, I gave them a small saucepan which didn't work on any of the burners. It's not really an issue now that I'm aware but it did cause some concern when the installers...

GREAT HEAT CONTROL

THE UNIT WORKS PERFECTLY. WE ALREADY HAD THE STEEL PANS IT REQUIRES SO WE WERE ABLE TO COOK THE FIRST DAY. IT HEATS FASTER THAN ANY OTHER TYPE OF COOKING. IT DOES NOT STAY HOT WHEN THE PANS ARE OFF SO YOU CAN'T GET BURNED. ALL GREAT FEATURES. WE ARE STILL LEARNING AND EXPECT TO ENJOY THIS STOVE TOP UNIT FOR MANY YEARS.

Fantastic temperature control

This is our first experience with an induction range and we couldn't be more pleased. Finding the right settings for different items requires adjustments while cooking, but part of the learning process for new technology and the temperature control precision makes it easy to adapt.

Better than gas!!

I really LOVE my induction cooktop. Never thought I could be convinced to give up on my gas cooktop. It heats up fast and the response in temperature is almost better than gas. So easy to clean. My only issue is that it has some small white spots on the large burner. Not sure what this means.

First impression

Installation was a snap as the existing cut-out for the existing range top worked. We like the responsiveness of the heat and the controls. I also like the idea that I cannot leave a hot burner on, after cooking. We have not used the griddle feature but like that we have that option. Lastly, the connection to my phone is also good as it tells me if an eye is on.

Induction Cooktop was a Great Choice

I bought a GE Induction cooktop and have been amazed! So easy to use, and heats up so much faster than my prior radiant heat cooktop. I highly recommend!

The worst product and service

I bought this product GE 36" induction cooktop. At first, the touch buttons only worked well for a few weeks. Since I was renovating my kitchen, I did not use that much other than boiling some hot water, so I did not bother to call for repair. After a month, I was finally get ready to cook my meals on it, then, there was the nightmare. The power level went randomly up and down during cooking, which means you either have raw food or burned food. Sometimes, all the heating elements on the cooktop ...

We love our new induction cooktop!

The cooktop is beautiful and very functional. It didn't require a lot of practice to begin using the burners. I made rice yesterday and found it very easy to turn on/off, and to adjust the temperature controls from boil to simmer. The rice came out perfect! Very happy with our purchase.

cooks like gas

I'm delighted with this cooktop. Having cooked with both electric and gas, I think it offers the best of both worlds. It has the instant response of a gas stove without the open flame. The time to boil water is impressive. Cleanup is a breeze, even compared to my former glass cooktop.

The worst!

This cooktop is horrible! I bought it a month ago and I can’t cook properly. I have to turn it on 10 times until it works. It the worst cooktop I have ever had!!!!

Better for the Environment, Better for Your Food

Our new cooktop has been a huge upgrade in our cooking game! We made the switch to induction due to the environmental impact of our old gas cooktop. The switch has been a breeze! There is a slight learning curve, but aside from that, it's been great!

Looks good, what works works well.

The large burner of the cooktop failed on the second usage. The repair technician wasn't exactly singing the praises on reliability of this appliance, also noting that parts are VERY expensive. That said, service was easily arranged and the technician appeared well trained and very competent. The little we've used the cooktop (what works) has been, as expected, much better than the gas appliance it replaced.

It’s like it was made for me! I’m not very patient when cooking, this cooktop is wonderful!

Great product. Heats very fast and responds to temperature changes quickly. Very easy to clean cooktop. Energy efficient. Cooked on gas cooktop for many years, induction is so much better, faster and easier to use.
