Get ready to replace the control panel just about every year. We have had it three years and it’s broken twice.

Less than 3 years...

This dishwasher was installed by our builder, the control panel just quit on us prior to the three year mark. Costs as much to fix as to buy a different washer. What a waste, I am heading out to buy another brand.

Another poor GE product.

I bought 3 new GE profile appliances in my new home in 2020. Refrigerator lasted 2 months and dishwasher 5 years ( used 6 months a year). Soap dispenser opens and soap runs down front of door.

Broken appliance

Unfortunately, our dishwasher broke right after the (2) year mark. The dishwasher was put in by the builder and now the motor is broke. We probably used it no more the (4) times a month. What a disappointment.

Leaks

Developed leak underneath in less than 4 years. I have had issues with several recently purchased ge profile products. Won’t buy another GE.

breaks down to often

Pump died in 10 months. Getting service on it sucks. No communication from repair tech on day and time they will be here.

Poor

Ours is 4 years old and has been broken on and off for 3 of the 4 years. Repair guy said it’s the most infuriating model he’s worked on in 18 years, which at least validated how hard I found repairing even easy issues

Have not used it since installed yesterday - but previous home had GE Profile which was good.

Racks rust

The racks began rusting after a year. They told me it’s out of warranty. Very disappointing

Broken Elements

We have had our machine professionally installed, had him out twice to make corrections. The top piece of our machine is now broken and unsure how to fix or if is fixable as it does not shut properly.

2 1/2 years and it doesn’t work

We got this dishwasher with our new build house. We paid extra to upgrade our appliances so we could feel comfortable with more reliable units. Our upgraded GE oven had to have a part replaced ($375 bill) after 2 years of use. We’ve been loyal GE customers for a long time and it looks like that is about to change. After 2 1/2 years dish washer suddenly doesn’t have any power. So no we either have to buy a new dishwasher or pay a tech to come diagnose and fix it. I’ll be calling GE tomorrow and ...

Solid dishwasher!

This dishwasher came with our new home and it has worked well. Just be careful installing the screws underneath the cabinet. They will scratch the control panel.

Quiet!

This is a very quiet dishwasher! Does the job well.

Gah! Broken Twice 3 Years! Hand-Washing Is Better

I don't recommend this machine. It's never provided a quality clean, often left our dishes with a variety of fishy smells and had two separate mechanical failures in its second and third years of operation plus the door seals and control panel trim have all broken and look really bad now. I've worked really hard to try and figure out how to get "Table Ready" dishes from this machine and it never has worked out. A variety of different detergents, rinse aids, baking soda, vinegar, loading style...
