Unreliable

The machine has been serviced under the extended warranty 3 times and still fails. It's even more frustrating because each malfunction is different from the last. I'm a single person with infrequent use as I travel a lot.

Glass Shattered on 3rd Load

I have had the washer less than 2 weeks. Today while it was washing, it spontaneously shattered. There are no zippers, rocks, hammers, or anything aside from fabric clothes in the washer. I can tell there is now glass stuck on the inside of the washer and I don’t know how that might affect the drum or the seal. Lowe’s won’t return it because it has been more than 48 hours since purchase. The GE warranty service provider is coming tomorrow which is nice since this just happened today. Hopefully ...

only lasted 15 months

after owning this washer 15 months it completely dies mid wash cycle. door is locked, no power at all. Have to wait for repair company to release the door, clothes ruined. washer smells like mildew $550 to repair. 1 year warranty......I think they know the washer is only good for that long!

Do not buy

Two separate repair companies have been out to look at this washer and say how horrible it is and how it has so many problems. Less than 3 years old and its been a nightmare.

Great features

This is the first time I purchased a front loader I was hesitant because I only heard how many issues people have with them however I am very pleased with how quiet this washer is & how well it cleans my laundry on the first wash.

Control board malfunction

Control board gave out just after 2 years. Repair estimate almost as much as I paid for the washer originally.

Best purchase of 2026

My washing machine first of all is visibly beautiful just to look at battleship gray since receiving my washing machine two weeks ago. I have literally washed everything in the house. Venting is a great feature

Does it’s job, but noisier than expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My last washer was a Sears HE-3t. This washer does its job. It cleans and the convenience of not having to add the soap every time is nice. My only complaint about my new washer is it is not as quiet as my old washer. My laundry room is adjacent to an area that we spend a lot of time in and I never noticed my old washer when it was running, and now I always know when this washer is running.

Great washer until it wasnt

I really wanted to love this washer. I purchased the washer for the first couple of years I was happy with the capacity and performance. As a family that does a lot of laundry, the 5.0 cu. ft. size was especially helpful for large loads and bedding.
