The good and bad

Got this replacement refrigerator with good deal with included extended warranty, delivery, installation, and old one removed. Original setup of install by Lowes was poor, but quickly sent out another team to correct. But, confusion from GE over self closing of doors and whether it needed brackets installed to prevent tipping over. The plastic drawers in cooler and freezer seem flimsy.

Bought this refrigerator a month ago and happy with the purchase. Capacity, lighting, and temp control have been great. Not to mention the finger print resistance, no smudges, and whatever does get in there wipes right off with a damp rag. Love it so far.

Decent size

Great fridge/freezer with good internal lighting. I wish the external dispenser would light up the words for the water/ice etc. Hard to see.

Nice looking

The ice/water dispenser leaked melting ice after first use! Not sure how to tell that it won’t happen again. The closing “flap” sounded closed but it did drip down the front & onto and across my new floor. It seems to run quite a bit with only 1 person using it. I don’t open the doors constantly.

Delivery was terrible.

The delivery guys were trying to level the refrigerator and continued turning and turning the foot of the refrigerator. It still didn't look level. When loading food from the grocery within a few days of delivery, the right door wouldn't stay open. I googled and it indicated that it isn't level. Called Lowes and the indivdual told us to put plywood underneath. We told him that shouldn't be necessary with a brand new refrigerator and referred us to GE. STAY AWAY!!!!

Bought a refrigerator and was delivered on 8/4/26. After installed it took 42 seconds to fill a cup of water. Asked for a replacement. On 8/6 got the replacement, water was ok (18 seconds/cup). SECOND REFRIGERATOR After 4 (FOUR) days I found a lake of water underneath and food on the freezer was thawed (Freezer at 27 F and refri at 45 F). Had to call GE, got a tech from them and he stated the compressor was bad. Had it replaced AGAIN. New one (THIRD ONE) delivered on 8/26. After FOUR DAYS AGAIN...

This fridge is great! The capacity of it is perfect. I love the fingerprint resistance of the stainless.

Bottom freezer and french doors. On the door ice and water. Last GE fridge was 22 years old!!

Product look good. Only had the Refrigerator for several hours. Not sure I like the drinking water dispenser nozzle appearance.
