Buying this dishwasher is smart!

So far the new GE dishwasher is working very well. Although we’re getting used to the options, they’re very easy to figure out for what we need to accomplish to get the dishes clean. There’s plenty of room for everything that we have for two people. Very good for the price.

Extremely cheap

Don’t buy this unless it’s your last resort and you’re desperate for a dishwasher. First off, it’s so loud. SO much louder than my previous (older) dishwasher. Second, it never dries my dishes enough. I’m constantly towel drying everything as I pull it out. Third, the cleaning quality is also mediocre and not as good as my previous dishwasher. Also the bottom rack isn’t made properly and it’s constantly falling off the track. Bottom line, it’s cheap and I hate it.

The gentleman that put in my dishwasher were extremely thorough and made sure that it was set up, absolute perfect and balanced, and they worked on it for a while and got it all done. Then they ran it through a cycle and everything looks wonderful. I don’t have any dirty dishes yet to put in it, but I think I am going to love it. I love the size of it in the inside. It’s very big extremely roomy. My last dishwasher was also a GE that I had for over 20 years and I was very very happy with it.

Great features

So far so good very quiet. Things fit in the top shelf I could never get it in my other dishwasher. Everything come out clean and bright!

Bottom rack too wide

The bottom rack is too wide for the machine. When you move the rack in or out it grabs the gaskets that are on the side that keeps the water in. You have to constantly be putting them back in place which is frustrating. My husband tells me that I can’t put a bunch of plates in it because it weighs the rack down and it pulls the gaskets out worse. What’s the point of having a dishwasher if I can’t fill it to capacity? The rack needs to be narrower so it fits in easily.

Infuriating & Dangerously bad design

This product has singlehandedly made me lifetime ban GE products from my household for as long as I live. INFURIATING ROLLERS The roller tracks for pulling in and out the racks will 100 times out of 100, come off the tracks and refuse to smoothly glide back in. If I wasn't renting - I would return this in a heartbeat.

It’s beautiful and goes well with our other appliances, really quiet and cleans and dries well, tons of space

CFE error

CFE error for bad valve solenoid within 2 years of installation.

Fair product. Wouldn’t purchase again.

This dishwasher is too noisy and feels cheaply made.

Basic model

It is a nice basic machine.I would like to have a setting for “light” wash. We really don’t need a one hour cycle every time.

No Silverware separator

My dishwasher didn't come with silverware separator on the top of the silverware basket, so the silverware just flops in the basket, and if basket is on the right side of the dishwasher (Where is is show to be placed) , the right side gasket gets pulled out by the silverware when you pull out the bottom rack.
