Great Dishwasher
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the dishwasher. It is quiet and it does a great job. The installation went great and I couldn’t be happier with the GE product. GE to me means quality appliances that you will have for years to come.

Quiet and cleans well, but racks cheap & flimsy.
Would Not RecommendIt is quiet and cleans dishes well. The cycles are adequate, and are simple to use. Installation was quick with no issues. There are very few features, such as drop down shelf for serving spoons or utensil basket cover to keep small items from flying around while washing. The racks are quite cheap and flimsy and dishes clank around when pulled in or out to load due to the very lightweight wire racks, and first dish loaded bangs on the sides of the dishwasher, as it is angled to close to the edge...

Cheap materials and loud
Would Not RecommendThe materials are cheap and made out of plastic. It doesn’t feel sturdy. It sounds loud during the wash. The dishes do come out clean and dry.

Works however
Would Not RecommendThis dish washer works well but is very flimsy the bottom rack never stays on track. You have to wrestle with it to rool back into the tub. The rollers fall off easily. This machine needs some sturdier material.

It is very basic but gets the job done.
I have had better "feeling" dishwashers at this price point, but, apparently times have changed. When I open the door on this thing it just feels flimsy, thin, cheap plastic, feels like I can break the door, other than that, it has 3 cleaning cycles, it does the job well as far as I am concerned, it's all I need, just wish the door "felt" better, but this does not effect functionality. It does clean well as long as you follow "dishwasher rules" and the owners manual, install is simple.

missing.
Dishwasher works well, unfortunately it is missing one front roller. I need to go online to find one.

Read the manual
Like most reviewers, this machine does feel cheaply made. I came here to find the manual because my apartment installed this unit a few days ago. It had ran fine the first but second time we ran it, everything was still soaking wet. Looks like the 1 hour is just a rinse cycle so there is no soap dispensed or drying function. So I ran the machine again in Normal and waited for the Clean light to come one. Dishes came out clean and dry. Moral of the story, read the manual. Lol. This unit replac...

The choice of cycles is very limited.
Would Not RecommendIt's quality is a lot less than other GE products I have purchased. It sounds very "tinny" - it is made with very thin material and it doesn't feel very sturdy.

Racks have rusted… and are now damaging dishes!
At first, I liked this new GE dishwasher (model# GDF450PSR3SS). While inexpensive, it was quiet, efficient, and cleaned the dishes to a shine (even lasagna pans and slow-cooker pots). But after a month, it began to slowly become louder, although the cleaning continued more-or-less unaffected. Well, a few months later, I started noticing little red rust marks inside many of the dishes and silverware. I'd find myself wasting a lot of time closely inspecting "washed" dishes and re-washing or polis...

Cheap and flimsy
Would Not RecommendI did not select this dishwasher myself; it was purchased and installed by the management company of my apartment community. This dishwasher is so cheaply made. Mine is brand new, and from the get-go, the bottom rack constantly falls off the tracks whether it's full of dishes or empty. I actually dread using it! Three different repair people have looked at it, and they all say nothing is broken. The bottom rack is just to narrow to stay on the tracks (which is weird since it's the wrack that is...
