We decided to replace 40 T8 fluorescent tubes with these and couldn’t be more pleased with the product. The entire sales floor was switch out in about an hour and looked great.

SOME DON'T LIGHT

Some don't turn on, but if I move the bulbs a little they come on. I don't see anything about bypassing the ballast with these is that an option?

These broke my fixtures

These things broke my fixtures. They installed without a problem. But 10 minutes later they started to go out. Couldn’t get them to come back on, so I replaced them with the old fluorescent bulbs. They wouldn’t work any more either! I ended up having to hire an electrician to bypass the ballasts and hardwire them for straight led bulbs. These all work great. So if you decide to try these, use them in one fixture only, then test them out for at least a week before going any further. I told Lowe’s...

WILL NOT WORK IN ALL FIXTURES

Check the GE list of compatible fixtures and compare to what you have before purchasing. I installed 4 of these in PSE fixtures and the tubes went out after about 5 minutes and were extremely hot on the ends. I gave it a poor rating only because compatibility issue is not real obvious on the package.

Exact replacement for 48-inch fluorescent bulb but significantly brighter. Wouldn't know it's an LED replacement with out the labelling. Works great!

We bought these to replace all the failing fluorescent light bulbs in our paint booth and the brightness of these are awesome! They are very bright and the color of the light helps with being able to see imperfections while painting so you catch them early in the process rather than after it’s sprayed and out in the sun!
