Would RecommendThe cover is attached to its support by screwing on. The cover has several plastic ramps (threads) to do this. I wanted to make a light temperature adjustment, so I tried to take the cover off. The threads were wedged on tight. When I turned the cover hard enough to cross the threshold to get the cover to move, the cover abrubtly moved and crashed on the other side. Minor damage that doesn't really matter but maybe another line in the directions would have helped me out. Maybe I could loos...

Would Not RecommendI don’t know what’s wrong with the world, why we went from an acceptable 2 lightbulb fixture, which was 120 watts to these 200 watt monsters NOWHERE ever needs 200 watts and I don’t want to install dimmer. Manufacturers need to step up to the plate and make them realistic!

Very Bright, Looks Nice
I had bought a similar GE fixture 2 years ago which worked for almost 2 years. I don't blame the fixture too much as bulbs of all kinds in the original fixture would last no more than 2 years. (incandescent, CFL, LED) I thought this would last longer, but no such luck. I need an inline surge suppressor or something.
