Would RecommendThis is working as a great replacement. Although it states Garage & Basement, it's a nice cool white that was the appropriate replacement for my bedroom fan light.

Nice Light
Would RecommendNice light. Just not as bright as I was able to find elsewhere, even at 4100K. Previous purchase of this only lasted not quite 2 years in a kitchen where light is not used 3-6 hours every day

Installed it myself! Very nice light
Would RecommendEasy installation with 4 prong connector, and glass bulb affixes to fixture quite easily into a torchiere lamp - so it gives off a soft, evenly distributed cool white light

Bright Light
Would RecommendThe light installed and works fine. Make sure that you get the correct illumination for your environment. This bulb is nice and bright for the kitchen, and is considerably better than the bulb it replaced.

The best I could find
Would RecommendFor this style of bulb, these were the brightest I could locate in the area. Used in a kitchen fixture that uses 2 bulbs. Using the kitchen version of this bulb, the kitchen looked like a cave. using 2 of the basement version, daylight, helped. But, these have a good color, but still are not very bright. The lumens needed for thos type of application and my needs just don't seem to be out there.
