Would RecommendI replaced my 19 yo cedar shake roof with a new Grand Sequoia “cedar”. The shingles are amazing. The shingles matched the house color scheme (3different colors) picked by the original architect The shingles color and 3 dimensional look brought back the original new house color coordination..

Questionable quality long term
Would Not RecommendI have recently purchased a home with these shingles. They were installed 16 years ago but have worn much faster than they should have. Many have lost their grit and are also turning brittled. I'm surprised these premium shingles don't last longer.

Would RecommendJust finished the job, the installation crew was excellent and did an exemplary job, the company was very professional and a pleasure to deal with, and the end product looks wonderful, and I know it was properly installed as I was able to watch the entire process. Finally a great home repair contracting experience after numerous sub par ones.

Ready for Climate Change
I live at a relatively high elevation in California. Roof construction was completed just in time to greet summer temperatures we haven't experienced before. My house was much cooler than it had been before, and I used my air conditioner less.
