Great shingles and underpayments

The Stormguard I&W Shield and Deck Armor underlayment along with GAF Timberline HDZ Shingles are a great product providing excellent roof protection and appearance.

I don't know Timberline HDZ is

After 13 months we have had no problems with our roof

Timberline HDZ shingles

Timberline brand shingles came highly recommended. After reviewing product materials and cost, I went with the HDZ line. Glad I did, as these shingles look very nice.

Major color discrepancy: nothing like advertised

I'm very disappointed with my GAF shingles, specifically the color. The Timberline HDZ Bold Definition Cliffside I selected looked visually dynamic in the product photos and was described as "striking" and “high-contrast”—exactly the visual pop I was hoping to bring to my house. On the morning of the install, I checked to confirm the shingles were the Cliffside color before leaving—and they were. But when I got home, my heart sank. Bad materials

I’m a contractor; we replaced a roof, and the shingles turned out to be different colors despite having the same bundle number and name. After I filed a claim—because the homeowner was threatening to take me to court—GAF Timberlane told me it wasn't their problem. I went to the store where I bought them, and they said the same thing. I lost a lot of money buying that defective material, and no one offered a solution. Be very careful—don't buy that material; it is of very poor quality.

I do not recoment this material some many problems with the color  I did my house i put pewter gray and it look different it look kind of darke instep look gray clear I went with the guy who did my roof to buy the shingle and they did buy shingle front the same plant that it comes from GAF must check their product before the sent to local places store 😑😑😑
