Ratings & Reviews for GAF Timberline HDZ Slate Algae Resistant Architectural Roof Shingles ( 33.33-sq ft per Bundle )

WARRANTY WORTHLESS

We had GAF shingles installed in 2008 by a Gold Level contractor and they had a 20 year warranty. We began to have leaks then one leak the contractor was unable to find and repair. He suggested we submit a claim to GAF as the shingles appeared to have a manufacting defect in the form of the glue strip being faulty and the shingles not sealing down in over 80 places across our roof. After myself and my contractor submitting multiple rounds of photos and mailed shingle samples, GAF simply repli...

Great and easy to use

I replaced my roof about a month ago and it looks amazing!

GREAT PRODUCT, HORRIBLE CONTRACTOR

My roof replacement was one big problem after another. We got all new sheathing and a great set of shinles installed. The contractors hung from our heating exhaust pipe and bent it and caused it to leak when a rain storm came about. The leak flooded our attic and wiped out our AC heat handler. After reaprs anther rain storm came and it happened again. The contractor did not want to own up to the damages caused by their subsontractors work. Again the roof was sealed up and the unit was repaire...

Excellent Roof

The design is great and original roof did an amazing job

Lake Oswego Roof Customer

We needed to replace our roof due to our former roof being installed in properly. D&R roofing company did a fantastic job installing our new GAF roof. Living in western Oregon with the amount of rain and moisture that we see in the winter time months I feel confident with the GAF product, they used to give us a great barrier between the rain and cold temperatures.

Attractive Roof With Enhanced Warranty

My previous GAF roof lasted 2 years past the warranty, so it was an easy decision to replace it with another GAF quality product.

Review of roofing job

I replaced my roof in early August. RGB Construction did a good job. It 's just done so only time would tell if they did an excellent job.

New GAF roof

Our 24 year old roof was original to the house and needed replacement. Triple Pine roofing installed the GAF roof about a month ago and so far we are very happy with the product and workmanship.

Product eval

I am pleased that Franzoso Contractng is one of your certified contractors. Since Franzoso is great, I can believe that your product is also. If not, Franzoso wouldn't be using it. Again, thanks for a good job.

Excellent service by RF Remodeling

My roof was replaced last week by Roman and his team. Job was done in one day. Boys worked very hard finished everything by end of the day and property was nicely clean up. Thank you for fast, easy and professional service.

Nice New Roof!!

We had an old, faded, and leaking metal roof replaced with GAF Timberline HDZ shingles. The new roof makes the house look much nicer. The installation crew was amazing, turning what we expected to be a three or four day removal and installation into a two-day job. The metal roofing was removed much quicker than expected, and damaged decking replaced where it had been damaged by leaks. Only a two-person was required the second day, finishing a shingles on half the garage/patio and installing flas...
