Ratings & Reviews for GAF Timberline HDZ Copper Canyon Algae Resistant Architectural Roof Shingles ( 33.33-sq ft per Bundle )

got wrong shingles

got three tab

Good shingle at a great price

I picked Slate because it is $6 cheaper per bundle than the other HDZ Timberline ones. Depending on the batch, there can be a slight colorization match issue, which is the reason why they are cheaper. Though you can't really tell once they are installed and have cured in the sun a couple days. The only issue is that the Slate ridge cap bundles can be harder to find in stock. If you have SF insurance, using the HDZ shingles qualifies you for a homeowners insurance discount.

Perfect material

Works very well

Great

I had my roof replaced three weeks ago, and it looks great. The installation by the contractor, who was Jim D. MacDonald in Halifax, was excellent. His workers were efficient, courteous, concerned with doing it right, and worked very hard. All my correspondence with the contractor was quickly responded to and fully answered.

New roofing system

I smelly loved the patience the crew had for us from beginning to end. There really was not any hidden fees and everything. Was cleaned up as promised. The end was a beautiful roof that is sure to last our lifetime.

Great combo. GAF and Epic

Had roof replaced by Epic roofers. They did a fantastic job all around. Good communication through the entire project. Work was done professionally. Roof color was great. Can't go wrong with GAF roof supplies.and Epic

Products to Trust

I replaced my roof with GAF because I've used their roofing materials before and my research convinced me it was still the best package available. I compared and contrasted it with two other product lines and it clearly came out on top. I know GAF will be there if I need them. I also appreciate that GAF ensures its certified contractors are well-trained and will do good work.

My new roof!

Economy Roofing was awesome from the roof inspection all the way thru the install. Very easy to communicate with and they really helped with our insurance claim.

Durability

I just replaced my old shingles after 22 years and I am very happy with the GAF process Mike Fiori did a wonderful job on my roof

Inadequate vetting of partner contractors

I'm sure the product is fine, but only if installed correctly. I would seriously recommend reviewing your relationship with the roofing contractor Modern Exteriors. There were a number of glaring issues with the installation that I spotted immediately. It was an absolute nightmare getting Modern Exteriors to address them, even after they acknowledged there was a problem.

Beautiful color and quick delivery.

Looks wonderful on our Victorian farm house

Unique Siding was a great company to work with. Listened to our concerns and did excellent prompt work.

New roof

We had our roof replaced two weeks ago! Hayes Roofing is amazing. From our initial conversation regarding our interest in replacing our current roof due to a recent leak, to scheduling a time, to the actual work done, clean up, follow up the following day with a magnet to pick up loose nails/hardware from the roof removal and above and beyond power washing our driveway the next day because their truck drove over our SC orange clay dirt and backed up in our driveway leaving a few piles of orang...

Awesome roof

We had a tree fall on our house. Replaced the roof and it looks amazing. Very happy with the product.

Great features

Just got our house roofed two days ago. Love how the shingles look and hope they last like warranty says. Austin Brown and crew did a great job

Bedford Hts

Your roofing people were great. Very happy with results. The only thing was the fact that they had no respect for giving us access to be able to get out of our house. The siding people and gutter people were not people that I would recommend

Roof.Side.Pro Construction installed the GAF HDZ Timberline

Roof Side Construction did a fantastic job, professional group, outstanding workmanship!
