Ratings & Reviews for GAF Timberline HDZ Williamsburg Slate Algae Resistant Architectural Roof Shingles ( 33.33-sq ft per Bundle )

The overall roof might be great but

We replaced the roof in October 2025 and all was good until a big storm in July 2026 caused a leak in the roof in the same spot as was in the old roof. However they did come and fix it very quickly. Hopefully it doesn’t happen again I will have to wait on a true score on this review to see what happens in the future

Beautiful Roof

I replaced my roof a couple of months ago. I am very pleased with the increased curve appeal the roof has added to my home. The product is of high quality and it's satisfying to know that I have a good warranty, which is also transferrable to future owners. The color options were great. The PEWTER color that was recommended was the correct choice.

Great Contractor

We just replaced our Church education building roof, and it was a great experience thanks to Lev's Construction and the GAF products installed

Excellence with Ease

We had storm damage and working with Eames and Sons was a breeze! We are very happy with the quality work and the great look of our new roof!

New roof install

LB Roofing + Interiors did a wonderful job installing the roof. We love the color and texture of the shingles. I have already noticed a difference on how much more quiet the house is already. Thank you for having a wonderful product.

Amazing roofing product

I had my roof replaced this week and its doing a great job against the rain.

Great roof replacement

I had a new roof installed. Ty Cox and Edgar along with their crew did a Fantastic job. Taking care and protecting the surrounding gardens and trees. And policing the whole yard for debris and nails. They also replaced a piece of soffit siding that another roofer installed years ago incorrectly. I highly recommend Jayhawks Exteriors.

Looks great

It was time to replace my roof. I’m pleased with the looks of the new roof. Plus the roofers installing the roof were top notch.

Nice job

I replaced my roof few days ago. It was a nice job done. The team was responsible.

Excellent shingles

Easy to install and look great. I installed them myself on a shed. We just got over 1.5" of rain in a storm, shed was bone dry inside. Glad I went with these over standard 3-tab. The nailing strip is well defined and they were easy to cut with a hook blade.

Too Replacement

M&M made the whole process of replacing my roof so easy! From the whole estimate process through the actual replacement. They showed up on time cleaned everything up they were professional, efficient, and so easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend them to anybody who needs any kind of roof repair/replacement. And it was a very good price. Thank you for making this whole process less painful.

New Roof

Replaced my roof earlier this week. Looks great. Happy with the product.

looks great, quality materials

Home & garage, complete tear-off, new decking and then GAF from under systems to shingles. House originally had a slate roof which previous owners removed, we chose the Williamsburg Slate color for our HDZ shingles and are v happy with the result.

GAF System Plus
