Ratings & Reviews for Frost King 8-in x 15-in Magnetic Mount Vent Cover in White
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers report mixed results with these magnetic vent covers. Many praise the flexibility, ease of trimming, and value for money, particularly for floor vents and craft applications like holding metal dies. However, a substantial group finds the magnets too weak for ceiling or wall vents, with reviewers noting they work best on ferrous surfaces. Several customers successfully repurpose them for organizing and crafting instead. Overall, satisfaction depends heavily on intended use—effective for floors and lightweight metal projects, but disappointing for overhead vent control.

Would RecommendI use these a little differently. I use them to hold metal dies for my embossing machine. Very easy to cut to size. If you're using a guillotine cutter, please cut with the white side up to avoid weird edges.

Don’t set your credit cards in it.
Would RecommendMy son can cover the vent in his bedroom when he’s too hot instead of shutting the heat off in the entire house.

I wish the magnetic part would work better, they aren't strong enough to pull tight to my air duct covers but they are better than nothing. They do work to a degree in that they are big enough to cover the duct area and they are fairly heavy for their size. They are decent for the price
Won't stay on ceiling vents
Would Not RecommendI got these to cover our ceiling vents but the magnet is not strong enough to hold them.

Perfect fit.
These are exactly what we needed to close off a cold air return in our MBR Closet. It wasn't necessary to have all the extra dust being drawn over our clothes
