No Leaks

The plastic nut connecting my water supply to the toilet fill valve rotted away and burst from water pressure. Luckily I was home at the time and could shut off the valve. I bought this to replace my 20 year old water supply line. I measured 1/2 inch, but in reality it is 3/8 inch. I'm glad I bought the universal line with adapters. Fluidmaster products are the best replacement parts I've used for toilet repairs. Another successful diy project.

12-in Braided Stainless Steel Toilet Supply Line

Purchased the Universal 12-in Braided Stainless Steel Toilet Supply Line in case it was needed when I replaced toilet water valve that I was replacing. I did not need the Universal 12-in Braided Stainless Steel Toilet Supply Line so I wll hang onto it for future use if needed.

Works as advertised

This helpful product had universal adapters, and was easy to identify which was correct to use.

I am so glad this product had various sized components so I didn't have to make another trip back to the store to install the right size. Was fairly easy to install.

Easy to Install and It Works!

Had an older toilet supply line that corroded and leaked at the tank connection. The new braided stainless line installed easily and solved the leakage problem. I was a little skeptical about the connector reducer adapters that came with the line, but I used the smallest (3/8") one and it worked well. Altogether a quick and easy repair.

When you don't know anything about plumbing...

I came home on Memorial Day Monday to a soaked bathroom mat. The whole interior workings of the toilet tank had to be replaced. When I started deconstructing the tank I realized that I needed a new hose than runs from the wall to the tank, the old one was some sort of pipe. So since I didn't know what size I needed I bought the universal fit. It comes with three different fittings to make sure you get a leak free connection. I bought this to replace the existing braided stainless steel toilet supply line of the toilet in my second floor bathroom. The hardware to change out based on what size of the fitting for the supply was great. By having the hardware to match the size of the fitting for the supply come with the supply line, it saved me trips from making multiple trips back to Lowe's to get the right size supply line.

did not come with toilets

thanks to the Plumbing dept. for suggesting I buy these supply lines for my two new toilets. they do not come with the new toilets and really should be changed out, due to age and scale build up. having them on hand saved the buying an "extra" from the installer.

length too long for my application

liked the idea of the shut off valve thread adapters.
