This is because those components could be adjusted/moved to other places, and rather than drill needless holes in the factory, you&ll have to be a bit brave, make a choice, and drill the screw in. Extremely sturdy and heavy. I used a sheet of 3/4” cherry plywood that I already had to make the desktop. It is 84”x60” in total dimensions. With it so fully extended, it was quite difficult to get it turned over right-side-up and it did require my wife and I to do it. The kit was missing one screw for the desktop, but other than that, it was complete. Great quality of the hardware.

Love this desk! Tons of space for my setup, and the height adjustment is super smooth and stable. It feels really solid and looks great in my office. Assembly took a little time, but it was totally worth it. Easily one of the best upgrades I’ve made for my workspace.

Mechanism to move up and
Mechanism to move up and down is very good. What just makes it average is the desk is pretty narrow (not deep enough), the top is a bit too thin, but the biggest issue is I needed to buy some straight braces to join the two tops and make them even and not wobble when weight is put on the table top.

Decent desk but disappointing that
Decent desk but disappointing that there were not any pre-installed pilot holes that aligned perfectly with the table top sold by FlexiSpot. Installation was a pain with ensuring the desk legs sat evenly under the table top.
