Would Not RecommendThe piece is not 2.75 inches wide. It's just over 2" wide. This is the third time i've ordered products which were not what was on the spec. Not sure what to do, i need to finish the project.

Measure carefully!
Would RecommendUnfortunately, this reducer wasn't high enough to overcome the height differential in my floors, so I used another product from this manufacturer that did the job, but didn't have the gentle ramps. I think the packaging and description online could be better, and they might want to offer this product with different heights, perhaps in 1/4" or 1/8" increments.
