What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this oak transition piece for creating seamless, professional-looking connections between different flooring heights. Reviewers consistently highlight the solid oak construction, authentic wood appearance, and excellent color matching capabilities. Many appreciate how it bridges gaps without visible unevenness and takes custom stains evenly. Installation is noted as straightforward with basic tools, and the material's stability—described as straight with no warps—requires minimal prep work. A few mention the higher price point, and rare installation issues occurred due to technique rather than product defect. Overall, most customers consider it an ideal finishing touch for flooring projects.

Would Not RecommendThe piece is not 2.75 inches wide. It's just over 2" wide. This is the third time i've ordered products which were not what was on the spec. Not sure what to do, i need to finish the project.

Measure carefully!
Would RecommendUnfortunately, this reducer wasn't high enough to overcome the height differential in my floors, so I used another product from this manufacturer that did the job, but didn't have the gentle ramps. I think the packaging and description online could be better, and they might want to offer this product with different heights, perhaps in 1/4" or 1/8" increments.
