Just what I needed for a new door
Would RecommendBought this moulding to serve as a transition from a hardwood floor to the threshold of a newly installed door. The height of this moulding (about 3/8") was perfect to transition from the floor to the 1/2" high threshold. All I had to do to make it work was to rip it lengthwise to create a square edge that would fit snug against the threshold. I also sanded the angled side to remove the edge and make it more rounded over. Stained and finished it with polyurethane and it looks great.
