I keep snagging it from my husband to use outside around the house. It is light weight enough for me to hold and use, and sharp enough to handle stronger needs. I will be purchasing more for my sons. Good for travel

It goes through wood in 3 swings or less. It is very durable. My family is a huge fiskar fans! It’s a must have if you love the outdoors. The handle has a comfortable grip for chopping.

Worth the investment

This was purchased as my son’s first hatchet. It cuts well, and held its edge well. I better grip on the handle would make this a five star solution for his needs and mine. Yes, I’ve already borrowed his hatchet when the job called for more than a machete, but I didn’t want to break out an axe.

The blade is sharp and works very well, but the weight balance of this product is not good for one hand use.
