Best Weeding Tool

Sturdy, comfortable grip, and works great for getting out the weeds!

I haven't found anything this tool works for.

The tool is very easy to use and hold, but it's not sharp. So all of the small chores I thought it could handle, I ended up using something else. I tried to cut/saw six small trees, maybe 1" in diameter, that were encroaching on my campfire ring. It was hopeless. I actually cut them with the pruning shears. I thought the blade side would be machete-like for cutting climbing vines, but it's a blunt edge as well. I had moderate success jamming the point in the ground and bringing up long rooted...

Great tool and good value.

Easy to use

Broke within the first week.

This seems to be a common issue with this tool. My wife actually liked this tool, worked well for weeding, but after just a few days of use, she was disappointed when it broke digging out a small root. I looked at it and was not at all surprised that it broke, the handle was only tack-welded to the blade with 4 small welds, only one of which had held to both pieces. Almost as if it was planned to brake. The other photos on this site show the same thing.

Price:Higher-quality pruning shears can be more expensive compared to basic models, which may not fit everyone's budget, these are not expenive

Bought it because of the name

I thought because of the name that it would be better made and heavy duty. It's ok, but I'm disappointed in the way it handles.

Bad construction.

Used it one time and it broke. It’s not made of steel.

Not tyoical Fiskars Quality

the handle is a cheap metal and broke easily after prying on a small root.

Works well, cheaply built

I used this for just over a month. It started bending where the handle and blade meet, then broke. The handle is a weak design and uses cheap metal. If you have any clay like soil it will break this knife.

Breaks easily

The shovel broke off the handle after about 1 hour of use. This is not typical fiskars quality.

Sturdy and versatile garden tool

A good multi-use tool for the garden -- I have several.

Handle Snapped

Halfway through weeding my garden the handle of this tool snapped off the blade just like others have pictured. Too bad, it was otherwise a nice comfortable tool that did a decent job.
