Would RecommendI bought this fire extinguisher in the store. When I got it home and opened the box, it was in excellent condition. The pressure gauge was in the green zone and the safety strap on the activation pin was in place. A wall hook mount was included (but you need to provide the screws for the mount, if you decide to use it).

Would RecommendHaving a fire extinguisher is a great idea but their warranty is misleading. I have the 10 pound model also described as "rechargeable" and after 2 years the gauge was reading low. (never used, just mounted to the garage wall) I contacted First Alert and all they said was the unit should be service annually, they didn't care about the low gauge reading or a possible leaky valve or seals. I can't imagine what their 12 year warranty covers since they didn't even mention the only two possible prob...

Would RecommendI sleep better knowing this is near the bedrooms, with all the house fires that occur in my area every winter, this was something I should have purchased years ago. Thankfully I've never needed, but now if I ever do I have it. Please don't risk your family's safety over $50, pick one up and keep it maintained. You'll never regret never needing it but having it, but you could regret not having it when you need it.
