I bought this a week ago, and it was easy to put together. Lowes employees were very helpful also.

Great Replacement
I’m very happy with the BRK/First Alert smoke detectors. They are easy to install, and the electrical connectors make replacing an existing detector incredibly simple. There’s no need to rewire everything—just connect the new detector and you’re done. This makes replacing multiple smoke detectors quick, easy, and hassle-free. Great product and highly recommended!

Easy install
Would RecommendI bought this as it was an almost exact replacement for my home’s 25 year old BRK smoke detectors (which still seemed to be working, but I knew they should be replaced after 10 years). I liked the fact I could just plug in the same electrical connector, and I also like the 10 year battery. So hopefully no worries for the next decade!

Good product poor delivery service
The product is fine. My order was mishandled and it took 4 phone calls to two areas in Lowe’s to get it delivered. It ended up over two weeks late.
