Worth it

After I got the wheels on and the rubber pads,oil in and gas. Slowly pull the starter cord to help prime it, choked it and hit the electric start and it took right off. Gonna be installing a natural gas connector on the side of the house so I won't be hauling gas when I lose power. So far it's worked out great for me, it's nice that it comes with a 4 year warranty.

It's a decent generator for the price.

Easy to get started and hooked up minus the missing landing leg part. The vibration scratched my patio but I had no choice with the power outage and 95 with 90 humidity. I called Lowe's and that was a disaster so I called customer service for Firman and waited for 45 on hold. I gave up and will try again when I have time. The thing is a monster and weighs 230 lbs. but it looks well built and dependable. Just the missing parts is frustrating.

Great generator!

Jacob was extremely helpful with loading the generator into our SUV. He was very thoughtful and courteous during the entire transaction. I would gladly deal with him again in the future. Setting up the generator once I got home was not very difficult. I ended up using it over two days due to a terrible storm near our home where we lost power for 52 hours. There were absolutely no issues with the operation of the generator.

When I bought it I couldn’t use it because it had a leak and the worst thing is that in the lowes they don’t have the store warranty valid and it cost a lot of money

Easy to assemble wheels and support, easy to follow directions. So far we are happy with performance and all.

Excellent home emergency power

Purchased this back in Feb 26 when NC was expecting an ice storm, debated returning as we never lost power. Decided to keep it, to avoid the hassle of trying to find a generator, they were hard to find. Fast forward to June 27, we came home to our power being out from a thunderstorm. And it’s expected to be out another 8 hours. 1700 sq ft home, this tank is running the whole house uninterrupted. Central air, fridge, microwave, internet, lights, tv’s. Highly recommended

Compact well thought out generator

Compact well thought out generator. Simple to put wheels on and started very easily. It is pretty loud but large generators are loud. It is very heavy and I would recommend help when moving and setting it up.

Poor product, (Junk)

I purchased this just after a bad storm in Indiana. After driving 3 hrs round trip to get it i get it bake to the RV and at first i thought it was a great product, some what easy to assemble and came with almost everything needed. UNTILL I ran it. Started it on propane and it started up and ran for just under an hour, tried several times to no avail. Decided to return it and try to get another, NOPE not at Lowe's!! i was tole that if its been opened and / or had fuel in it of any kind they will ...

Don't buy from Lowe's!

I purchased during Ice Storm Fern. You couldn't find a generator anywhere, so I drove 5 hours one way in the ice to buy this generator, so round drive approximately 11 hours. It worked fine the first day, second day it would not stay running. I called Firman and tried to troubleshoot and could not get it to run. On the third day, I decided to return it. I didn't want a brand new $1000 generator paperweight to sit in my shop. Lowe's wouldn't let us exchange it because it had been over 48 hours. T...

This generator can handle my fridge, freezer, tv, heater, and more! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs reliable power!

The box they brought out was beat up and I asked for one that wasn't beat up. this thing was heavy weighed 235 lb and the two gentlemen letting me up were very good sports about it. they went in and got me another box and a timely manner and apologized for the inconvenience and shook my hand. I feel like Lowe's should be paying their employees a decent salary because they're taking care of them
