With my daughter‘s help, we were able to raise the soil level in three separate flower beds by approximately 3 inches above the concrete edging that existed. We loosened the soil behind the concrete edging and patted it firm with the end of a 3 foot 2 x 4 then unrolled exactly what we needed for a particular bed laying and pinning it as we went.
