So far I have only cut a bunch of 3x3 .250" angle iron to build a work bench it came out perfect the beautiful fitment of every miter and cut made welding it up a breeze. It is so nice and well built The company I work for is now considering buying one. Also the 2 day shipping and included blade was sweet! Excellent saw.
Just Hobbyists, making some metal furniture. But this has been a game changer! clean accurate cuts! Mostly on hollow tube. Way better than the dewalt abrasive saw we were using even after switching to a metal blade. Miter function, excellent fence, clamps, all a huge improvement.

Would RecommendThe evolution s355mcs is a great saw. I like the idea of moving the saw and not the work piece. Also a nicer way to clamp the work down. I also have the 15 inch chop saw and i love that saw i use it all the time. The s355mcs will be my go to saw now. I never had any problems with any of my evolution products i own.

Would RecommendI debated buying this saw for a while as I already have the standard metal cutting saw, which is great. This mitering saw really blows it out of the water. So much more efficient, just release the locking tab and rotate to your next angle. Everything works so smoothly, and extremely user friendly. An added benefit is the different clamping system. It easily adapts to many different sizes and shapes, it’s great. The only thing I’m mad about is I waited to so long to buy this machine. Game Changer...

Great saw. Has made a much quicker job out of cutting angles. The aluminum saw table I think should be steel. When you make a cut and push material through to the next cut it puts gouges in the top from the sharp edges from previous cut. Overall love it though.

Would RecommendFinally able to make very accurate mitre cuts in steel. It’s wonderful. I have two dewalts 14” carbide cutoff machines and this saw is WAY better. Now the Evolution stand, garbage!

Would RecommendCuts amazing easy to put together seems well built. Would be nice to have better adjustability, more precision adjustment for the cutting head to get it square. With a little patience you can get it close just not perfect.

Works well on oil field pipe and fence posts
The chop saw is working fantastic. It is cutting 2 3/8 inch oil field pipe and fence posts without any difficulty. We did not realize that we were needing a chop saw with lower rpm as we were burning through expensive blades on a different chop saw. Very pleased with the performance.
