Bad aftertaste and smell

The filter fits my Samsung refrigerator, but it has a faint bad aftertaste and smell, similar to sulphur. This is even after flushing 4 gallons of water through the filter as recommended. I have never experienced this issue with OEM or other brands of aftermarket filters.

Not as god as Samsung OEM Filter

In my case, this filter just does not compare to the Samsung original filter replacement. I could definitely "taste" the water ( almost metal like) - so much so I drank bottled water until the Samsung replacement filters came in the mail yesterday. Really disappointed in the quality. In the case of my Samsung refrigerator, the original Samsung replacement filter is the way to go.

Clean water

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using the Value Filer S2. It does an excellent job filtering my water and ice. The water taste fresh and crisp. The ice does not have a bad flavor or smell. I normally do not like to use the ice for my drinks but with the Value Filer S2, I enjoy my ice again. I am excited to have this filter and will continue to use it.

Great substitution for pricey filters

These filters are about half the price of the filter I regularly use. So far they work just as well for my refrigerator. Love it.

Enhanced Water Taste

I've used several filters for our fridge, but, this filter provided great tasting water after running 2 gallons after initial installation. Definitely purchasing more of these!

Replacement Filter

Could not find the 2 pack filter brand we have purchased in the last 2 years for our Samsung refrigerator. Was a little skeptical about this brand;however, it works just fine.

Better than expected

I went to get the Samsing filter but they were sold out. Got this one instead and I'm not disappointed. Absolutely love the price!!

Excellent Value - Direct Replacement

I was pleasantly surprised that it was a direct replacement for the Samsung branded filter. It was easy to install - took seconds. Most importantly the water tastes great as it filters through this unit. I have tried other branded filters and this was by far the best fit and tasting substitute for the Samsung version.

Easy to use!!

Bad filter

Wouldn't let water flow and inthrow away package so I'm out 30+ bucks

It works, even if I don't need it!

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This filter fit inside my Samsung refrigerator. It's currently working great, and my water is much cleaner than it was before. I have well water. It was easy to install inside the refrigerator. According to the instructions, it should last for 6 to12 months.
