What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the rustic aesthetic and affordability, with many loving the natural imperfections and final stained or painted appearance. However, significant quality control issues dominate feedback—reviewers report widespread damage including broken tongues, splits, and warped edges, with many stating only 1-3 usable planks per six-pack. High waste rates of 20-50% force customers to purchase substantially more material than planned. Despite these frustrations, most find the lightweight, easy installation and low cost worthwhile for achieving an attractive rustic look, though careful board selection is essential.

Would RecommendWe purchased a ton of this to update the bunkhouse at the new cabin we purchased. Without heat in the winter we are limited to wall materials that we can use and I wasn't a big fan of the osb on the walls and wanted something a bit nicer than paneling. This was only a bit more expensive than paneling and looks great. The extra work and the little bit of difficulty was totally worth it.
What I expected
Would RecommendThese are okay for the price but keep in mind that you get what you pay for. At least 10-20% of the boards are damaged or defective and knot holes that go all the way through are also common. Still most of the boards are fine and sometimes the duds can be used in obscure places or the damaged area cut off and the remainder used. Remember to open several packages and mix them or you’ll get repeating patterns! This also allows you to sort out the damaged ones to use in shorter areas. They are also...

Don’t bother with this cheap product!
Would Not RecommendMany pieces were unusable due to cracking and splitting. Once installed, because it’s so thin, it cracks and splits when installed. Cheap and don’t waste your money.
Love it!
Would RecommendMy ceiling looks great. Yes there are holes in some but still was def cheaper using these planks for our ceiling. We needed thin boards due to an uneven ceiling upstairs and these worked great for us. There are somewhat flexible. We just bought extra and tried to pick out the best ones. We are remodeling a old house and have not stained them yet.
Quality if wood
Would Not RecommendThis product was horrible. Doing a wall in our laundry room and even after sanding some terrible ruff spot we are going to have to tear it all out and go with another product.
Low quality
Would Not RecommendThe sides where you tuck or sink do not align and lots were broken. The wood is so thin you can basically pick it up and it breaks. I’ve held card stock more durable. Splintering all over it and just falling apart right out of the package.
Disappointed
Would Not RecommendMany of these planks had holes where knots were located. Some of the knot centers fell out when planks were picked up. Those sections of the planks were unusable for my project. Customers can’t see this condition the way the planks are packaged. I only saw it after they were opened at home. I don’t recommend theses.
This stuff has more holes then swiss cheese. Trash
Good if ur looking for rustic
Would RecommendMost planks were in good shape, went together alright, but looked very pretty when finiahed

I bought 15 packages of these which was almost enough and now they're not in stock with no idea when they'll be back but the lack of a star is due to two of the packages having boards that were so distorted I had to cut them up to have them fit correctly. Fortunately I had a window that took up a lot of the cuts but that was a lot of warped pieces.
Very low quality
Would Not RecommendMany boards are split on the ends. All have gaps where the planer was not cutting smooth. Must sand to get nice finished look. I would not buy again.
