Would RecommendI didn't buy it to use in my house! (I guess it would work there also) I cut it into pieces to use as whiteboard for my class. Not quite as good as the real thing but they do the job until I can get the district to buy the good ones for me (<----- LOL - Probably won't happen!)

Would Not RecommendI have used tempered hardboard under my chair many times. Usually it lasts about 9 months (back when it was $10 a sheet) which is as long as a $80 plastic mat. This hardboard literally has a hole through it in TWO DAYS. I have never seen hardboard so weak. You can bend it and the corner basically falls off and crumbles.
