This small 3 lb hammer is excellent for convincing stubborn parts to go where they should. The handle and grip are comfortable. The whole thing is small enough to fit into a tool box.

Sledgehammer

Would Recommend

I needed something to drive metal and wood stakes around the driveway with winter on the way. This worked great, better then a framing hammer and easer then the sledge with a long handle.

Best hammer ever when extra umph is needed

Would Recommend

This hammer makes tough jobs easy. Had to pound 10 inch galvanized nails/spikes through rocks and GA clay with little success after the first few inches. A few hard whacks with this 3 pound baby and the job was done. My new favorite tool. The rubber handle make for a good grip while absorbing much of the vibration of metal on metal. The black edging around the white stones in photo required 10 inch nails to anchor in the ground, a task going nowhere until I bought and used this hammer.
