Would RecommendThis auger is very light and cuts through ice with ease. Had it for one season, paired with M18 2904-20 drill. So far, I'm pretty happy with the pistol bit.

Would RecommendIf you’re thinking about buying this, do it! I hemmed and hawed for two years and finally squeeze the trigger on buying this extremely light weight, ice melting device and boys and girls am I glad I did! I paired it with the Milwaukee hammer drill and it’s a match made in winter! 5 stars all day long!

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pistol Bit is awesome! First time using it was on Lake Winnipeg with Dewalt DCD996. Over 3ft of ice and the Pistol Bit cut through effortlessly. Super lightweight, so I didn’t get tired cutting holes and carrying it around. For the money, I don’t see a better option out there to cut a hole through the ice.
