Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been ice fishing for well over 50 years, I had many gas augers and a ion ice auger. I am tired of gas, it's nothing but a PITA, I liked the ion but I do a lot of back packing, the pistol bit paired with my drill with the battery weighs around 9 lbs. Not much more than a hand auger and it will cut an awful lot of holes. Anyone hesitating on this, don't. Pull the trigger you won't regret it.

Will go with my K drill in the future.
Would Not RecommendHaving used both this and the K drill i would recommend the K drill above this. It seems to cut much slower and to drain my battery more than my kdrill. Still a nice product, but one of the only eskimo products i have been disappointed in.
