What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this battery-powered trimmer for its exceptional power, delivering gasoline-level performance without noise or fumes. Reviewers consistently highlight the lightweight carbon fiber design, ergonomic balance, and shoulder strap comfort. The automatic string-loading system and tap-and-dispense feature are celebrated as revolutionary improvements over manual winding. Many customers value its seamless integration with the broader multi-tool ecosystem and shared battery platform. A small number report issues with string head design and weight distribution, but these concerns are significantly outweighed by strong overall satisfaction and loyalty.

Would RecommendDoes a great job. I’m a smaller man so it is a bit heavy for me to use.

Love the power load!
Would RecommendI own several EGO tools including snow blower, lawn wore, edger attachment power head and the string trimmer. All items are of high quality and do a fantastic job

Forced buy.
Too bad there is no option to buy any other accessory with the kit, you must buy the trimmer even if you dont want to use it, as it pollutes the land with never decomposing plastic. And you must buy a kit, as it includes power head, 4ah battery and a charger, buying all those separately is insanely expensive

From old Ego weed trimmer to new trimmer attachmen
Had the base for this attachment, but had a weed trimmer from 2018 that died. 8 years use. Purchased the weed trimmer attachment and used with existing base unit Works signicantly better than older unit Very happy

Cuts everything but the grass.
It seems to cut through my fence boards with more aggression than the grass blades. It blows longer blades out of the way.
