Never received
Would Not RecommendNever received weed trimmer, although I received a message stating it had been delivered. When I called customer service it was determined that the trimmer had been damaged in route and returned to sender. Was not able to reorder as the product was no longer available online. I did receive a refund a week later.

String not advancing
Would Not RecommendSo far I've been disappointed with the trimmer due to the string not advancing. I am not sure whether it's an issue with me or the design or something else. Tapping the head on a firm surface seems to do nothing. I've had to remove the string and reload it a couple of times to at least get some string out so I can do some trimming. If I am able to figure this out or hear back from Ego on how to resolve this issue, I will revisit this review

Struggles to feed the line and find the right cut
Would Not RecommendWell I don't have the same issues I had with my other trimmer as far as the line getting sucked back into the head, the tap feature to rapidly release the line doesn't work well, and because the head on the bottom is so large, you have to really find the right angle in order to get it to actually trim the edge of the lawn.

String trouble
This has plenty of power in a light package. The only trouble I've noticed is the bump advance for the string doesn't work great. If the string gets too short (3 inches), it won't advance by bumping. You need to manually unwind the string.
