Make sure you buy some Bar & Chain Oil

Disappointed that a pole saw would not include the necessary bar & chain oil needed to be used. I had to go back and get a bottle.

Reach the sky with the EGO+ Pole Saw and the EGO+ Extension pole. Get rid of that annoying limb you have been standing under for such a long time.

lots of vibration

quality seems great but there is a lot of vibration to this saw when you are cutting something. I have another stihl pole saw and it does not vibrate like this one.

Great performance

So far it's cut everything I've thrown at it! The only drawback I would say would be the need to remove the chain cover and adjust chain tension with additional tooling. Toolless adjustment would make this top tier

Great Polesaw!

I used this and my trimmer for close to 60 minutes and less than 40% of the charge was used. Very easy to use, slices through tree limbs with ease, largest one was 6" in diameter and a good 6 feet overhead. I do not have the extension pole and will add that. I wish there was a way to use it with one pole but the multi-tool power unit is one pole and the saw another. This makes cutting lower branches a bite more of a challenge. I will likely be buying the chain saw next.

Worked well for the first use

I have used this one time to limb up trees for fire mitigation. It worked well and was fairly easy to use. I was quite pleased with how the saw operated. It cut the branches effortlessly. I will probably use a shoulder strap next time. While the unit's weight seems well balanced, using it over time, it can become tiring, so relieving some weight will be helpful. Removing excess chain oil after using is necessary to keep it from leaking off the bar.

No chain oil included!

Ego lost a star which could have been even worse. We live in a very rural area with no stores nearby. And this pole saw does not even come with a small bottle of chain lube so I couldn’t use the tool as intended on the days I had to do the work because it did not include even a tiny bottle of chain lube. That’s not right EGO! I a fan and have many many Ego tools so I was disappointed to say the least. Great tool other than that experience.

Worked well when trimming limbs on both an oak and a crepe myrtle.

Admittedly disappointed

I just unboxed and started to assemble the multihead pole, saw attachment. And I have to admit, as much as I love ego tools, and have an extensive collection of them, this pole saw attachment is a big disappointment. The reason why I say that is simply because all of the other ego power tools that I have are so well designed, and every function is doable without any tools.
