Powerful, clean and relatively quiet
Would RecommendThis is a great trimmer. It has more power than my old Stihl trimmer and seems to run for ever on the battery. We have a large yard, and I can do most of the trimming on a single charge. I also like that the battery fits the mower, so I can use it as a backup while charging the mower battery. I'm very happy with the purchase so fer.

NEVER EVER going back to gas or 20v battery.
Would RecommendThis machine has serious torque. If your trimmer line gets tangled on something ya better be ready to let go of the trigger because it could pretty easily pull itself out of your hand if you aren't ready. It's quiet. It's strong and weeds don't stand a chance. And the best part: I will never need to mix gas/oil or even run to the station for gas ever again. It's all at home and ready to go. No regrets here.

Battery Over heats
Would Not RecommendOk, I just sold my entire Ryobi 40v system and upgraded to Ego Plus. Bought the 18" Chain Saw, 16" trimmer, carbon fiber pole saw, 675CFM blower. Was going to buy the 21" mower this weekend but.... At first, I was impressed until I noticed after 15 mins of use, the blower would shut off. I waited 30 seconds, and it came back on. Battery showed fully charged, no red light. I swapped this out for new one at Lowes and same issue. I know it is hot in Texas, 100 degrees outside but my Ryobi ne...
