Ratings & Reviews for EGO POWER+ Commercial 56-volt 12-in Battery Chainsaw Battery Not Included Charger Not Included

Chainsaw is great, battery not so much

Chainsaw worked great. The only problem is that after charging the battery overnight to ensure it was fully charged, it only lasted about 9 or 10 cuts. I couldn't even finish cutting up one tree that was already down

Works great

Easy to use -Chain replacement easy

Make sure you open it before you leave the store.

I haven’t tried it but it came without the battery!

Great value and battery lasts a very long time plu

Well designed and good feel and balance

Great battery life, power and cutting ability.

Electric chainsaws have come a long way since my first in the 1990's. Great for outback, rural hunting spot improvement!

Alot better than my sthil ms170.

its awesome, EGO needs to make a hard carry case for it. ill never go back to a gas chainsaw, I was very skeptical. Its Powerful cuts 1.5 ft thick logs like butter. No gas no cleaning the carb, just check your bar oil and your good. Its not too loud. EGO make a futuristic hard carry case w/storage.

absolute junk

this thing couldn't cut hot butter. Batteries overheat constantly. i finally gave up on it. threw the wood in the woods and left this piece of crap with it.

Very Impressed

I bought this chainsaw because I was tired of struggling to start my old gas one. I don’t use a chainsaw often, so I decided to give this one a try and I’m glad I did. It’s well worth the money and cuts great. I used it on a hard oak tree. I’d recommend picking up a second battery for longer jobs.

Ok

Junk

Battery Dies in 30 minutes, and usually overheats which prevents charging. Burns through wood over 4 inches thick. A total waste and I regret this purchase. Every other chainsaw I have works better than this overpriced piece of junk.

Impressive Power

Impressive power. More powerful than my gas chainsaw.

While I would recommend EGO to anyone, getting it from Lowes I would not. This was delivered on June 25 and finally unpacked it today. Surprise there was a charger and no battery yet the product clearly stated it comes with a 5.0AH battery. Upon opening, the box was clearly a return as it was improperly packed. Nothing in the box was bagged. EGO should think carefully using Lowes as an outlet for its products. Now I need to get a 5.0 AH battery just to use this.

I would buy it again

This electric chain saw is powerful and the battery lasts as advertised.
