Many compare it favorably to gas models, highlighting quiet operation and ability to cut large trees and logs with ease. The 20-inch model cuts through 30-inch diameter logs effortlessly. Battery life consistently impresses, with users completing multi-tree sessions while retaining substantial charge. Most appreciate the hassle-free experience without gas, oil mixing, or pull-starts. Weight is noted as heavy but manageable and well-balanced. Minor concerns include chain tensioning requiring tools and occasional chain dulling. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it for homeowners and occasional users.

Would RecommendCuts great. Long run time. Easy to use. Quieter than a gas powered saw, but I still use ear protection. It is a bit heavy.

Amazing Power / Impressive Saw!
Would RecommendI bought this 20" Ego chainsaw when my 20" gas powered Husqvarna bit the dust. I had an immediate need for a saw of this size to take down a large pine in my yard. The electric saw is silent compared to the gas variant, the only sound seeming to come from the chain whipping around the bar. I love the fact that I don't have to pull start the saw every time I want to make a cut, a...

No stamina
Would Not RecommendRuns great while it runs. Battery life is short! You might get 10 minutes of hard cutting out of it.

The chainsaw is very powerful but the chain was dull before I had finished one battery worth of cutting.

EGO 20 inch chain saw
Bought this saw with some hesitation because I own (and had owned) Stihl gas chainsaws with great success. Pleased I had an option for the 20 inch blade to match my current saw! I was very pleased with my initial useage and look forward to future use. Chose the EGO because it rated high and my experience with the EGO weed eater! Pleased with my purchasing experience with Lowe’s and the pick up option.

Quiet, Pollution Free and Powerful
Cuts just like my gas-powered Stihl (when it's running) but without the noise and the fumes. I wish I had gotten it sooner.
